Particularly, Hiyakō is tasked with tracking down and apprehending high ranking criminals on an international scale. As such the group is often forced to ignore local laws and regulations in order to detain notorious shinobi and organizations. Most recently they have been capturing members of the White Snake Sect, and cult who reveres the deceased Orochimaru as a god and have been linked to several cases of human sacrifices for various purposes.
