  • Hyarmen aka Hyarmentië. The Great South Road, goes all the way along the coast for most of its length from Hyarpendë (opposite Pelargir) for some 4,500 miles to Gobel Metharn in the far south. It was originally built by the Numenoreans in the Second Age from 2284 to 2432 SA, this original stretch went from Pelargir to Gobel Ancalimon, Amrûn and finally Umbar.
