They were causing a such mess in the Smurf Village - even proving to be a match to Jokey Smurf. At the end of the episode Papa Smurf reverses the spell, making them return to normal: nothing but an ordinary, lifeless gingerbread cookie which gets thrown out of the village along with Brainy.
