  • Country can mean a nation, that is a piece of land divided from other pieces of land by imaginary lines. Each country contains its own variation of conservatives, and they hate everyone else in every other country and want nothing more than to start a war with them...excepts, perhaps, to steal your money. Many countries have their own language and form of currency. All of these languages and systems of currency are created equal, and none of them is better than any other in any way, shape or form, no matter what any one says.
  • Countries in Renaissance Kingdoms are generally called kingdoms.
  • A country in a nation, no matter if it is recognized or not. At times, 'Country' will be used interchangeably with 'Land of', on Ninja-Academy. Often, the Japanese 'No Kuni' will be added to the end of the word's Japanese form, by some. A country trax pack was also released into the catalog for a short time but is no longer sold due to the demise of trax. In the Shop the picnic range released in May 2011 was combined with the country range so picnic items are now also considered to be country items. File:Art country secretmeet.gif

  • A country (also known as a nation-state) was a government that was generally smaller than a planetary government. Countries were usually made up of smaller sub-divisions, known as provinces or states.
  • Other rock and roll stars with a more obvious country background, especially the Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly, were influential on the development of British pop and rock in the 1960s, but the audience for country music in the UK was quite separate from the teenage public whose tastes dominated the record charts. Country music was popular with working-class listeners in Ireland, Scotland, Merseyside (the Beatles included country material in their sets) and East Anglia. Singers like Jim Reeves and Patsy Cline had hit records but for the most part the music was unfashionable and largely ignored by the media.
  • The United Federation of Planets required that planets have a unified government in order to be considered for Federation membership. However, planetary citizens often felt an attachment to their native region, which may have previously been a nation-state. Country is the worst / best music ever. The country is the precursor to the city. Unfortunately, some might say, the city has rendered the country more-or-less obsolete. People from the Country speak in country accents, own farms and fondle sheep. Their only concern in life is winning the "Village of The Year" award, and they will murder anyone who tries to get in their way. The only person who can stop them is a kick ass cop who likes swans and his sidekick who is named after a sandwich.

Country music was popular with working-class listeners in Ireland, Scotland, Merseyside (the Beatles included country material in their sets) and East Anglia. Singers like Jim Reeves and Patsy Cline had hit records but for the most part the music was unfashionable and largely ignored by the media. In the US, country music was a much more successful and commercially significant genre, as Peel found when he moved to Dallas. At the same time it was often associated with the racist and illiberal attitudes of the "old South" and as such had little appeal for listeners in other areas of the States - even if country records did sometimes cross over into the pop charts. Yet this began to change with the arrival of the Beatles and the American response to the success of the "British Invasion" groups. Bands like the Byrds and the Lovin' Spoonful were less influenced by blues and soul music than their British contemporaries; America was still a society with deep racial divisions, so young white musicians could only hear black music on the radio and seldom ventured into black areas. Instead, they tended to focus much more on "white" music forms, including contemporary country music and the older bluegrass and old-timey styles favoured by the urban folk music revival.
