Persecuted for being who he was related to, Asuke ran from his great Uncle Tumeric Warbird for what seemed like hundreds of years. Facing the horrifying fact that he was a direct descendant of the legendary Princess Mariah Warbird, Asuke eventually came back to the system, but didn't come back to Tristchana directly. Settling on Curava, the home base of the Mariah Warbird Separatist Movement, He took a role in his grandmother's comeback. In 264 BBY, The movement invaded Slokana, the capital city of Tristchana and the Tristchanian Empire. Ceebai Cerabak took the throne and banished the Pro-Tumba Warbird regime out to Curava, as a punishment for how they treated Mariah. Disaster soon followed in the forms of a nuclear holocaust that blanketed the planet in seemingly endless winter, and a six-year campaign against Hannibal Warbird and the Warbird Separatist Imperial Remnant. In this war, Asuke enlisted in the Dragon Mercenary Co-op as Leader of the DeathMerc Squad, one of the most successful flight squadrons in the Universe. On one particularly successful mission, Asuke dive-bombed a Star Destroyer and killed the entire ship, and allegedly took his own life in 16 ABY. When Harlan took over as King of Tristchana in 42 ABY, Asuke had "returned from the dead", and made sure that it was a smooth transition from grandfather to grandson. Though he has lived like a hermit on and off for most of his life, Asuke is a very good father and grandfather, and one of the best known fighter pilots in all the galaxy. As he likes to say, "The beauty of living, is being able to see the wonders of space, and how things are constantly being created and destroyed."
