| abstract | - During the War of the Five Kings, there were a band of sellswords infamous for their cruelty as well as their brutality. They called themselves the Brave Companions, but everyone knew them by another name: the Bloody Mummers. Their leader, Vargo Hoat, was killed in the war and the band's ranks were decimated and scattered across the Seven Kingdoms. Out of the ashes of war arose a mysterious figure named Maleagant. Styling himself Lord Inquisitor, he lifted up the banner of the Bloody Mummers once again and gathered a new band of mercenaries, brigands, and reavers to terrorize war-torn Westoros.
