The Cursed Seal takes the appearance of an almost clock-like shape; the exterior, in any case. This is due to the numerous diamond-shaped protrusions at the edge of the circle, therefore creating this appearance. The diamonds are either filled in black, or white; they alternate in pattern consecutively. The interior takes an abnormal, abstract shape. It can primarily be compared to a bird; the top-center having a head, while the protrusions outward appear similar to wings, albeit exaggerated. This appears to be done so because Orochimaru was "persuaded" by Karin. The overall abilities of the seal appear to be moderation of Ichimu's chakra levels. Because they are so high, the seal passively absorbs them; converting them into Senjutsu. This allows any of the stages of the seal to be instantly activated, without prior warning given. While an effective battle tool in its own regard, the said transformations aren't without their downsides. The ability to remain in this state causes chakra to be absorbed at a higher rate. Also, due to the seal also possessing the unique enzyme that Jūgo's clan had within their transformation, the user experiences periodic bouts of insanity while using the seal: passively or actively.
