| abstract | - The Pirate Wars was a small conflict between Tesh Vohore and Chin Chaldak, who was under control by the Hutt, Noolid. Noolid was the brother of Garganat, who was killed by Tesh shortly before the war sparked. It was because of Garganat’s death that the whole conflict started, but was taken further by the commanders operating it. Starting with a short battle above the base planet of Shadda-Bi-Boran, Tesh reorganized his army and went after Chin, who attacked him. But when Tesh arrived, Noolid was waiting there to surprise him. This happened on many occasions throughout the conflict, until Tesh grew smart and sneaked aboard Chin’s flagship. Under cover, Tesh discovered that Noolid was behind all the tactics. From then, Tesh planned on fighting a Hutt pirate not a Coruscanti engineer. The war ended with another battle over Shadda-Bi-Boran. Chin’s Faction swept into the planet with a massive force causing the Liberators to fall back to the atmosphere. The battle continued for hours as Tesh barely held onto his fleet. But while Tesh was occupied with the invasion, a small fighter penetrated the outer defense and flew down to the planet. In the fighter was a mercenary hired by Chin to kidnap Tesh’s wife and children, and make it appear like they were murdered. When Tesh discovered what had happened he was furious. The war was never distinctly won by either side, though the Liberators were the only faction able to hold onto most their fleet and still control the planet.
