| abstract | - The One Forest was the greatest area of woodland ever seen, stretching right across the super-continent Irritaria and covering nearly a quarter of its surface. It was in the very heart of this land that the first and greatest of all the Elven sorcerers, known only as the White Lord, spent much of his time in communion with Erillia the Elf Mother. It was not until a millennium after the release of Time that the One Forest, as well as the rest of Irritaria, was sundered. Since this catastrophic event, the decline of its surviving portions, such as Affen Forest around Lake Nekros in Khul, and the Forest of Night near Sardath in Allansia, has also resulted in a proportional decline of the fortunes of the Elves.
