  • Imperial Vivification

  • The Imperial Vivification was a splinter movement from the Imperial Remnant, who sought to revive the original Galactic Empire. It was founded in 7 ABY, by Con artist Jasod Revoc. With old age almost upon him, it only took the right clothes and some make up to disguise as Palpatine. He then fooled a number of gullible and low ranking officers into falling for his guise. He quickly gathered their collective forces and began to form a shadow empire under the nose of the Imperial Remnant. After that, the Vivification fell apart, its members captured or returning to the Imperial Remnant.

One follower of Revoc was a Moff known as Kanqvyn. He traveled to many backwater systems, preaching the views of the Vivification, and bringing the weak planetary governors under its wing. After a year of amassing resources, the group prepared to attack the Shesharile system. Rear-admiral Koshuk would lead the attack, with a fleet of over 100 ships the Vivification had amassed from nothing. However, their actions had not gone unnoticed by the New Republic. Spys that had been sent to monitor the actions of certain Imperials, and Imperial-held worlds, soon reported in. The Republic quickly gathered the information, piecing together the puzzle. After one sleeper agent reported that a local Moff had began to construct an asteroid base in the Republic-held Shesharile system, they leapt into action. However, as they began to sneak their forces into the system, the Imperials began to attack. The Republic forces fell back before reinforcements arrived and stopped the Vivification landing on Shesharile Prime. However, the Republic spy network quickly discovered the Vivification friendly planets, and began to root them out. After following a trail of spy information, retreating Imperials, and Communication messages, the Republic eventually found Revoc on Byss. They sent in Kyle Katarn to capture Jasod. Kyle quickly gained entry to Revoc's makeshift palace. There he made his way to the throne room and confronted the Emperor. Kyle summarily captured him, and he was later imprisoned, Rear-Admiral Ebstaban Koskuk remained unaware of Revoc's death. He continued to follow the plan, subjugating a number of worlds in the Outer Rim. Eventually Kyle Katarn infiltrated the Guiding Hand and destroyed it along with Koshuk. After that, the Vivification fell apart, its members captured or returning to the Imperial Remnant.
