  • HMS Pursuer (P273) is an Archer-class patrol and training vessel of the British Royal Navy, currently part of the Faslane Patrol Boat Squadron (FPBS) at HMNB Clyde. Until 2010 she was part of the Royal Navy Cyprus Squadron (RNCS), formed in February 2003 in support of Operation Telic, the U.S. led invasion of Iraq. Prior to 2004 Pursuer was the training vessel for Sussex University Royal Naval Unit (SUSURNU), duties now performed by HMS Ranger. Pursuer is currently commanded by Lieutenant Commander C M O'Neill Royal Navy, who is also the Commanding Officer of the Faslane Patrol Boat Squadron.
