  • The 2001 New Hampshire 300 was a Winston Cup Series (now Sprint Cup) event held at New Hampshire International Speedway on November 23, 2001. Jeff Gordon dominated the race, but a late-race scrap up with Mike Wallace and Robby Gordon cost Gordon one lap as a penalty. With Wallace and Jeff Gordon out of the way, Robby Gordon had little competition as he rolled to his first career victory. Gordon, despite the 15th place finish, ended the year with a 344-point championship margin on Tony Stewart (5th). It was the end of Gordon's 4th championship year. Stats
