  • Karok is an ice mage who is the brother of Kezeroth that resides on the world Glacera. He was once a soldier who fought against his army where he has told his wife and kids to flee. When his wife and kids were apprehended by the enemy army, the warrior made an exchange. During the exchange, the warrior discovered that his wife and kids were killed causing him to "fall." When the warrior returned to himself, the invaders were all slain. He died inside that day, but the warrior would become Karok was still strong. The men of Glacera fled to follow him into battle as they became his new family. As years went on, Karok became more brutal and grew twisted outside and inside. His powers get stronger when he is in colder locations. Karok tricked the astromancer Syrrus into preparing the gate that would enable him and the Frostspawn Army (consisting of Frost Fangbeasts, Frost Invaders, Frost Reapers, and Frost Superreapers) into invading Lore by claiming that he was coming to help fight the Queen of Monsters. After dropping the ruse, Karok plans to succeed in where Kezeroth failed. The players ended up fighting Karok's Frostspawn army. After the players and Lorentz stole Karok's scythe from Glacera, the players defeat the Frost General. Karok reclaims his scythe and breaks the portal by throwing Lorentz into it. The players claim that he doesn't know much about the Queen of Monsters. After Karok leaves, the players and Syrrus prepare to continue fighting the Frostspawn Army. The Queen of Monsters sees the talent in Karok and declares that he is perfect. Upon wanting to know more about Karok while the players and Syrrus are fighting the Frostspawn Army and the Monstrous Refugees, the Queen of Monsters creates The Queen's Gift in order to serve him. Karak was surprised that this monster arrived and obeyed his every commands. After The Queen's Gift was slain, the Queen of Monsters interrogates a Frost Invader to know more about Karok's past. The players confront Karok and fight him. After the players defeat Karok, Syrrus uses his powers to blast Karok far away from them. The players weren't able to find Karok's body as the Queen of Monsters managed to save him. The Queen of Monsters is pleased with Karok's powers and offers an allegiance to him with the Queen of Monsters feeding off of the fear of Lore's inhabitants and Karok ruling Lore. Karok agrees to the terms....for now. Karok the Fallen grows tired of waiting for the Queen of Monsters to call for his services. He plans to obtain the powers of the next Champion of Ice for himself and find that person before the Queen of Monsters does. He starts by heading to Cryostorm Island....which the Queen of Monsters has been waiting for. Karok the Fallen and his army then attack Cryostorm Tundra where his army now includes Frostspawn Trolls and Glacial Trolls. The players hold their own against the Frostspawn Army when they state that the Alliance won't get to Cryostorm Tundra in time. Laurissa and members of the neighboring cities arrive to help fight the Frostspawn Army as Karok the Fallen plans to unleash the full force of his army. Karok the Fallen sees the error of sending the weaker part of the Frostspawn Army in first and sends the Frostspawn Army through the portal to bolster their numbers. In the nick of time, creatures from the Chaos Realm show up to help fight the Frostspawn Army causing Karok the Fallen to take matters into his own hands as he transforms into Super-Charged Karok. While the players fight Super-Charged Karok, he managed to throw a spear at Thermax and slash Laurissa until Abel takes a stand giving the players enough time to take down Super-Charged Karok. The Queen of Monsters withdraws Karok the Fallen where she was the one who supressed Karok the Fallen's powers during his fight. Karok the Fallen is told by the Queen of Monsters that he will defeat the players in due time when she says so. The Queen of Monsters then sends Karok the Fallen away as she contacts Laurissa (who was secretly on the Queen of Monsters' side). In light of what the Queen of Monsters did, Karok the Fallen knew that his alliance with the Queen of Monsters would collapse. In order to take her on, Karok the Fallen plans to find his brother Kezeroth and free him. After the players have defeated the Frostspawn Symbiote, the players make it to where Kezeroth is and encounter the Frostspawn Horror as Abel shows up. Following the players defeating the Frostspawn Horror, Karok the Fallen frees Kezeroth from his imprisonment. As the players, Syrrus, and Abel watch, Kezeroth is angered that he was awakened before Quetzal's Comet would come. Karok the Fallen reminds Kezeroth that Quetzal is dead and proposes that they claim all of Lore as their new destiny. Kezeroth attacks Karok the Fallen who claimed that Kezeroth's mind was fogged enough for him to forget what happened to Quetzal. Kezeroth then reminds Karok the Fallen that his destiny is being the World Ender. As Karok the Fallen is unable to persuade Kezeroth to join forces with him, he summons his army to help in his feud with Kezeroth. As Karok the Fallen and Kezeroth fight, the players, Syrrus, and Abel plan to take advantage of this fight by using either brother to defeat the other. Karok the Fallen unleashes his army of Frost Invaders, Frostspawn Trolls, and Glaceran Defenders against Kezeroth's army of Kezeroth's Blades. As the war progresses, Kezeroth tells Karok the Fallen that he can't win as most of his Frostspawn army has been decimated and Karok the Fallen has been weakened. As Karok the Fallen won't surrender until he has done his vengeance on the Queen of Monsters and taken over Lore, he does one final attempt to get Kezeroth to work with him and combine their abilities. Kezeroth punches Karok the Fallen who states that he would only hold him back. Karok the Fallen then casts a binding spell to get Kezeroth to obey him. Upon Karok the Fallen noticing the players, Syrrus, and Abel, Karok the Fallen admitted that they let Kezeroth beat him. Kezeroth tells Karok the Fallen that his Soricomorpha will take care of them as he unleashes the Soricomorpha on them. After the players have defeated Soricomorpha, Syrrus and Abel state that they will now have to defeat both Karok the Fallen and Kezeroth. In order to confront Karok the Fallen and Kezeroth, Syrrus tells the players of a poweful crystal made of non-melting ice that was first seen in Glacera and was made by Kyanos on the Plane of Ice where it's power might be enough to stop Karok the Fallen and Kezeroth. Arriving as the Crystal of Glacera's location, the players fight their way towards the Crystal of Glacera. Upon the players proving themselves to the Crystal of Glacera where it transforms into a staff, the players work to get away from the armies of Frost Fangbeasts, Frostspawn Trolls, and Glacial Trolls until Karok the Fallen arrives wanting to have a "chat" with the players. When the players won't surrender the Crystal of Glacera to him, Karok the Fallen tells Kezeroth to let him deal with the players and to save himself for the real fight. While fighting Chained Kezeroth, the players are powered up by the Crystal of Glacera where they briefly immobilize Kezeroth until they are attacked by Karok the Fallen who will put an end to this battle. When the players defeat Karok the Fallen, Syrrus advises the players to finish him off. Karok the Fallen claims that he only wanted to conquer Lore and that the Queen of Monsters is the enemy since she allowed the players to defeat him last time. Karok the Fallen claims that the Crystal of Glacera would empower him enough to stop the Queen of Monsters as the nightmares she has in store are far worse than the oblivion that Kezeroth would've brought. The players decide to call a truce with Karok the Fallen....for now.
