  • Amaron is a character in the Book of Mormon. The son of Omni, he wrote a brief annotation in Book of Omni. He is most noted for keeping the Small Plates of Nephi given to him by his father. He continued the record in 279 B.C. by making a brief note stating that, due to the judgments of God, the more part of the wicked Nephites had been destroyed in his time. He concluded his annotations by giving his record to his brother Chemish [1]. This article related to a Book of Mormon Character is a stub. You can help MormonWiki by [ expanding it].
  • Amaron or Ameron [Ah-marr-on] was one of the first members of Kellanved's family, and one of the four original admirals in Kellanved's navy. He was also once commander of the Talon. He was a large Napan man. He was one of the sub-commanders of the 3rd Army during the Siege of Y'Ghatan. He had a "deep-blue Napan face" and later in life he was "rather wide around the middle." After Laseen took the throne of the Malazan Empire, Amaron "drowned", meaning he staged his own death.
