| abstract | - The Pirates of Corellia, also known as the PoC, was one of four different pirate groups in the Pirates Union that haunted the citizens and travelers in the Corellian sector and surrounding areas. Any member of this pirate groups had an automatic five thousand credit bounty. Almost everyone of its seven hundred pirates had killed at least three people. These pirates were notorious for attacking local authorities and travelers; they are best known for the infamous Talus Incident where fifteen pirate ships blockaded the Talus capital city, Dearic for seven days. The blockade was ended with a fierce battle and several large firefights in the city. Around seventy-two Dearic Police were killed with dozens of citizens; the pirates lost nine of their ships and two hundred fifty-three pirates.
