abstract
  • Ianithopia is an island country located in the Pacific Ocean. Its capital is Ianopolis, the country's largest city. The island that Ianithopia is located on was previously uninhabited by humans before Ianist settlements. Pope Ian I and his followers left the mainland, where they claimed that they were oppressed, and founded Ianithopia. Ianithopia is a theocratic autocratic totalitarian state led by Pope Ian I. The official political ideologies of Ianithopia are the Ianche Idea and Iansoc Idea. There is a strong cult of personality around Pope Ian I, as he is considered a god. Outsiders are already referring to Ianithopia as a "hermit kingdom" because of its isolationist policy. Ianithopians are never allowed outside the country, and the only outsiders allowed in the country are required to be escorted everywhere by "guides," who keep tourists from making any contact with Ianithopians. Part of the Ianche Idea is having a very strong military force to protect the country. Thus Ianithopia is a heavily militarized country.
