  • When Sar-Elam was transformed into the Seventh Dragon, his ascension caused a new plane of pure magic to be created in the spirit world. It was soon populated by the Djinns, humanoid spirits who were thought to be reflections of Sar-Elam's power and brilliance. • When Sar-Elam was transformed into the Seventh Dragon, his ascension caused a new plane of pure magic to be created in the spirit world. It was soon populated by the Djinns, humanoid spirits who were thought to be reflections of Sar-Elam's power and brilliance. Depending on where, when, and how a Djinn is evoked, it can either be male or female, which perpetuates the ambiguity of Sar-Elam's real appearance and gender. The Djinns are valuable allies for the Wizards of the Silver Cities, as they have the power to influence the scope of the Wizards' abilities with their mystical knowledge and natural affinity for the currents of magic. Sometimes, the Djinns work with Wizards by choice, because they are intrigued by a particular Wizard's research or vision. Other times, it is by obligation. Power-hungry Wizards sometimes try to harness the power of a Djinn by taking them as slaves, but this is usually a fatal mistake for the Wizard.
