  • Gorgas was a warlord commanding a vast army. He had promised his step-daughter, Rena, to Pallaeus. When Rena fell in love with Iphicles, who had taken the name of Hercules, Gorgas chose to allow the new union instead. He believed that an alliance with Hercules was a smarter idea. When it was revealed that Iphicles was, in fact, not Hercules, Gorgas led an attack against both men and was defeated. As far as villains go in this series Gorgas was more laid back and pragmatic then most. He delegated many day-to-day operations to lieutenants. He was quick to realize that it was better to imprison Iolaus and lure Hercules rather than go searching for him. He proved to be a capable fighter himself, battling Iphicles at length before being subdued. He also showed a caring side when dealing with his step-daughter Rena. He showed genuine concern for her when she was confronted by the Mandrake in the catacombs. He was though, ruthless in his dealing with his own people. To fund his foreign wars of conquest he plundered the countryside around Flagra leading to widespread discontent. ==Gallery==
