Here, he almost quit basketball to play football. O'Quinn went to Norfolk State University as a college. In his first college basketball season, he appeared in every game. This was his worst college year, with only 5.3 points per game. His three other years were much better. In O'Quinn's second college year was much better. He missed one game, and didn't start one as well. With 11.5 points per game, he was the fourth leading scorer for his team. O'Quinn played for two more college sesonss with Norfolk University. Then, in the 2012 NBA draft, the Orlando Magic Drafted him. He was 49th pick in the second round. O'Quinn's first pro year in the NBA wasn't bad. He averaged 4.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 0.5 blocks per game. O'Quinn was a very useful bench player. O'Quinn's second pro year was better than his first, with 6.2 points per game. He was probaly best at rebounding. He.also made blocking shots a big part of his game. In one game, he even blocked all-star Dwight Howard's shot. O'Quinn got much more minuets this year, with 17.2 of them per game.
