| HistoryText | - thumb|left|Facing the IntruderSpace Ranger is, rather oddly, seemingly a futuristic incarnation of the normally rather more down to Earth Action Man, and the leader of the Action Man Space Rangers who defend Earth from such threats as the alien Intruder and the space pirate Captain Zargon and his crew. His precise relationship to the original Action Man is unclear, as is the era he operates in; he may be a unique individual active in the future, or possibly Action Man himself using more advanced technology than is customarily the case. Either way, we're damned glad he's on our side!
