| abstract | - Fergus O'Donnell appeared in two roles in Coronation Street: in March 1993 he played PC Dean who investigated Carmel Finnan's allegations of assualt against Gail Platt and he returned to the programme in December 2010 as the Doctor who treated Peter Barlow after the gas explosion at The Joinery. He trained at the Manchester Polytechnic School of Theatre has also appeared in Love Hurts, Playing the Field, Casualty, Silent Witness, Downton Abbey, Holby City and Doctors. On film he appeared in Jarhead, Odd Shoe, A Business Affair and the Agent while his stage performances include parts in A Number, Hamlet, Richard II, Tales from Ovid, The Winter's Tale, What I Did In The Holidays, His Lordship's Fancy and My Very Own Story.
