The body shape of the JTK2 is different than it's predecessor, the JTK1. It is an asymmetric shape with offset rounded horns which resembles the Fender offset guitars such as the Jazzmaster or the Jaguar. Going forward, this body shape was used for all the other models in the series. For 2004 the JTK2 was produced in Korea, but production was moved to Indonesia starting in 2005. The JTK2S is a similar model with P-90 sized single coil pickups. The JTK2 was discontinued after 2007.
