| abstract | - Old Soggy is Uncle Blenny's dog fish. His sniff is not what it used to be, as he is, of course, old. He cannot pick up the scent of the thief of the Great Conch Shell without all three of its three golden pipes. Once Freddi and Luther fetch the pipes, Old Soggy tracks the thief with Freddi and Luther following him to an ancient temple. When Freddi warns Luther of the thief's presence (and getaway), Old Soggy leaves to pursue him while Luther greedily picks up a jewel (only to get trapped before he can obey Freddi's command to put it back, thus prompting her to get a chisel and cut out a jewel of a certain color to put into a core so she can retrieve the key). After Luther is freed, the thief drops the bag with an unknown item (if it's a cane, the thief is Gill Barker; a claw-shaped boxing glove, Claw; a whale-sized toothbrush, Nadine; a microphone, Rosy Pearl; a spool of thread and needle, Pierre; a visitor's map, Horst Fedders). When the thief is accused, he or she denies it being his or her own item, but Old Soggy bites him or her on the tail (tentacle for Rosy's case). After the accusers apologize to Uncle Blenny for blaming him, and he forgives them, he thanks Freddi and Luther... and then, upon being reminded by the dogfish himself, Old Soggy.
