| Synopsis | - Sighting of strange monsters on the northern coast of the United States attracts the attention of the Human Torch and Toro and they decide to go an investigate. They arrive just as one of the creatures frightens a little boy sending him running off a cliff, but the Torch and Toro manage to save the boy's life in the nick of time. Toro breaks off to try and attack the strange creature, but strikes his head against a tree knocking himself out. With his flame powers off Toro then falls off the cliff.
After the Torch delivers the boy to his family he finds that the creature has Toro in its clutches and goes in for the attack. However he finds that Toro is okay and that the creature revived him from near death. Realizing that the "monster" is not a danger the Torch stops his attack and the creature telepathically communicates with him. The creature reveals that it is an alien from the planet Arc Centurai. It goes on to explain that it was flying past the Earth when the planets gravity pulled him to the surface and he has been trapped ever since. He was attempting to get help the whole time he was stranded but people were too afraid of him. The Torch and Toro agree to help try and fix his ship and succeed in doing so. Suddenly an angry mob rushes toward the ship, but the Torch and Toro hold them at bay long enough for the alien to blast off into space.
- Captain America and Bucky are assigned to search for the communist agent known as the Man With No Face who has been active in New York City's Chinatown, assisting Officer Wing of the police. After helping capture some minions of the Man With No Face, Cap and Bucky accompany Officer Wing back to the police station. There he explains that the Man With No Face has been forcing Chinese-Americans into sending money to communist China by threatening their loved ones back home. Wing reveals that he got a letter from the mysterious man himself threatening to harm his brother if he does not comply. Cap promises Officer Wing that he will do whatever it takes to capture the Man With No Face.
While Captain America and Bucky watch from the roof tops Officer Wing and his men scour the city searching for the Communist agent. They rush to the cries of a man calling for help and find him being menaced by the Man With No Face. The Man managed to take Officer Wing and his men hostage, but suddenly Cap and Bucky crash into the room and fight off his men. The Man With No Face tries to flee to the rooftops by the two heroes chase after him. Captain America catches up with the Man With No Face and easily over powers him. Cornered on the edge of a roof, the Man With No Face reveals that he is Officer Wing's twin brother and commits suicide by jumping off the roof to his death. Captain America decides not to tell Officer Wing the truth as the Man With No Face's identity is mangled beyond recognition from the fall, but he assures Wing that no harm will ever come to his brother again.
- Communist spies attempt to extort a man who works at the shipyard into turning over the plans for atomic powered vessels or else they will kill his blind son. Cap takes his place with an overcoat on to meet with the spies and they proclaim that now that they have the plans, they are going to kill him and his son both. They drive back to the man's apartment and go upstairs to bring down the boy who turns out to be Bucky in disguise. Cap and Bucky reveal themselves and are mopping up the spies when the blind boy comes out of the apartment attempting to help. Bucky tells him to get back, but one of the spies grabs him and threatens to shoot him. Cap deflects his aim, but the gun discharges near his head, restoring the boy's sight. Cap and Bucky hand over the spies to the police.
- With prisoners of war in Korea becoming sick, communist nations of the world have begun accusing the United States of torturing and poisoning prisoners. Suspecting some form of fowl play the United States military calls in Captain America and Bucky for assistance. They give him an antidote for those who have been poisoned and send Cap and Bucky off to Korea to investigate the strange poisonings and stop them at their source. Overhearing this a communist spy reports this back to his superior who sets in motion plans to prevent Captain America from succeeding at his mission.
At the airport, Cap and Bucky are about to board their plane that has the antidote when suddenly a bomb inside it explodes. However, it was merely a decoy as Cap reveals that he has the real antidote on him. They take another plane and fly across the ocean to Europe on their way to Korea. Over the Atlantic they are attacked by an enemy aircraft carrier but trick one of it's own planes to crash into it. Suddenly surrounded by enemy jets, Cap and Bucky bail out of the plane leaving it to be destroyed and leaving the communists to believe they were killed in the blast.
Picked up by a French boat, they are taken to France where they get another plane and resume their mission. Along the way they are once more dogged by enemy fighters but manage to trick them into crashing while flying through a canyon.
When they finally arrive in Korea and try to administer the antidote to the Chinese prisoners of war, they believe that Captain America is trying to poison them, however Cap fights them all off and takes the sickest one and cures him. When they see that their comrade has been cured of his illness, the other prisoners of war back down and allow themselves to be cured as well.
