The coral itself can be used as a medium for many Coral Manipulation techniques, such as the Coral Palm. It can also stun or paralyze someone, if they make contact physically. The tentacles of coral will excrete their special venom to do so when touched by someone outside (or as Giyo wields it). The coral also allows shell formation, which means the coral can make a body shell for Giyo, that can be used as protection from various kinds of harm, such as some ninjutsu or kenjutsu, if the armor itself isn't enough. In this form, Giyo can also swim faster, and is given great night vision, better than average shinobi's night vision. He is also very durable in this form. This form is somewhat faster than a regular human, but not as fast as a regular Jinchūriki chakra cloak. This form doesn't allow for Giyo to enhance or use some of the Three-Tails Water Release powers, though he can still use his ninjutsu in this form, along with some of Isobu's. This form is weaker than a full Tailed Beast Mode, or a Tailed Beast Chakra Mode, both of which Giyo has yet to master.
