| abstract | - Veronica Hurst (born 11th November 1931 in Malta) appeared in Coronation Street in November 1966 as Sister Moore who treated Paul Cheveski when he was hospitalised with pneumonia. She also appeared in The Happy Medium, the fourth instalment of the 1967 Street spin-off Turn out the Lights. Her television career began in the early 1950s and included parts in series such as Knight Errant Limited, Public Eye, The Baron, No Hiding Place, Man in a Suitcase, The Persuaders!, Dixon of Dock Green, The Flaxton Boys and the UK version of General Hospital. Film roles include parts in The Yellow Balloon, Will Any Gentleman...?, Bang! You're Dead and The Gilded Cage.
