| abstract | - The United Dominion (Dutch: Verenigde Heersen, Swedish: Enade Herravälden, Spanish: Estados dominio, French: Dominion unis) is a quasi-sovereign state that includes the 8 commonwealths, 3 territories and the federal district of Washington D.C. Created in the aftermath of the North American Revolutionary War, the colonies of New Sweden, New Netherland, Acadia, Spanish Florida, the Colony of Georgia and the Colony of Virginia; unified under the authority of George Washington; who was declared King at the foundation of the Dominion in 1778 during the Continental Convention. It also lead to the creation of the Constitution of the United Dominion, creating a federal government and the creation of a unified military, currency and authority. It provided that the individual cultures, languages and religions would be maintained in their individual commonwealths without disturbance.
