  • In the Name of Suffering is the debut album by sludge metal pioneers Eyehategod, released on December 1, 1992. The album was originally released on French label Intellectual Convulsion, but only 1500–2000 copies were pressed of this release before the label disappeared. They were then picked up by Century Media, who promptly rereleased the album. It was again rereleased in 2006, as part of Century Media's 20th Anniversary, with four bonus tracks from the band's 1990 demo Lack of Almost Everything (these recordings are also available on their live album, 10 Years of Abuse (and Still Broke)).
