It was heavily opposed except by the aronese politicians who supported it. After 6 hours of discussion, Arthur Begley Chairperson of the Senate threw the bill out after he deemed it unconstitutional. The bill led to the aronese politicians from abstaining from parliament and the adjournment of parliament for the rest of the day. Talks are ongoing with the Federal Law Commission.
