- Cave trolls reside in cavernous regions, predominately throughout the Spine of the World and the Nether Mountains in the Silver Marches, as well as the Storm Horns and Sunset Mountains in the Cormyr region.
- They live in caves with many technology and buildings. They are quite intelligent in building but not so smart in many other things. They are powerful and they were on top of every Corinth creatures (ogres, Trolls, Cyclops, etc.). They ate fleshy creatures and had strong mandibles for when in danger.
- Standing about 6-feet-tall, this hairless bipedal creature has glowing blue eyes, sharp fangs, and leathery brown skin that seems constantly wreathed in a tangle of brown and green moss.
