  • The Secretary of Education was the title given to a member of the Allied Cabinet within an Allied Command. Each Allied Cabinet maintained the position of Secretary of Education. Their position was analogous to the Minister of Education on the Alliance Cabinet.
  • The Secretary of Education was the Republic of Haven's senior governmental official responsible for education. In the 1905 PD, Eric Grossman held the office for Hereditary President of the People's Republic of Haven, Sidney Harris. The present Secretary's policy of "democratization of education" policies implemented by his ministry resulted in catastrophic results for the People's Republic's research and development capabilities, which placed the department at odds with the Secretary of War and the Chief of Naval Operations. Additionally, Secretary Grossman was often at odds with the Economy Ministry due to the consequences of his ministry's policy on Haven's industrial establishment. (HH3)
