  • William Henry Kidson (4 December 1845 - 24 March 1900) was an accountant and educationist. Born in Bury St Edmunds, he was educated in that town before living in Paris for a number of years. In about 1870 he returned to England to become a chartered accountant. He rose to become senior partner in W H Kidson & Son of Basinghall Street in the City of London. He died of influenza in 1900, aged 54.

In about 1870 he returned to England to become a chartered accountant. He rose to become senior partner in W H Kidson & Son of Basinghall Street in the City of London. A resident of Brixton, from 1891 he was a Moderate Party member of the London School Board, representing the Lambeth West Division. He was active in the Conservative Party, and was the party's secretary in the Brixton constituency for 15 years. He was a prominent freemason, and was Worshipful Master of the London School Board Lodge. He died of influenza in 1900, aged 54.
