The last Prince of Dragonstone was Rhaegar Targaryen Dragonstone was given to Stannis Baratheon by his brother, King Robert after he won the Iron Throne. Since Robert did not grant his brothers the title "Prince", Stannis was styled the Lord of Dragonstone instead.
