  • The Barber Shop was an interview segment featuring host Brutus "the Barber" Beefcake, which aired on the World Wrestling Federation's syndicated WWF Wrestling Challenge from 1991-1992. The set was decorated like a barber shop, complete with chair, barber pole and plate glass window. Like several previous interview segments, "The Barber Shop" was patterned after "Piper's Pit," wherein the host - in this case, Beefcake - conducted interviews with wrestlers or managers to help push wrestlers and get feuds over with the crowd.

The most notable storyline involving "The Barber Shop" came in December 1991, and involved the split of The Rockers. During the segment, Shawn Michaels turned heel by attacking his teammate, Marty Jannetty, moments after they resolved to patch up a series of differences they had had in recent weeks. The segment facilitated Michaels' eventual rise to superstardom. The last "Barber Shop" segment aired in February 1992. That segment featured Sid Justice attacking Beefcake and destroying the set, as part of the buildup to Justice's match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VIII.
