  • Derriphan-class Labor Drone
rdfs:comment
  • Named after the creatures of Sith legend, the Derriphan-class Labor Drone at first seems an odd successor to its namesake since it primarily creates instead of destroys, but like most Cult of Shadow creations its propensity for devastation should not be underestimated. Although dwarfed by the massive Labor Lords they serve, the Derriphan-class is larger than most sentients and are powerfully built to fit their size and primary purpose as construction machines. The tools they are equipped with were chosen to be functional, but also easily adapted into weapons when the situation calls for it.

abstract
  • Named after the creatures of Sith legend, the Derriphan-class Labor Drone at first seems an odd successor to its namesake since it primarily creates instead of destroys, but like most Cult of Shadow creations its propensity for devastation should not be underestimated. Although dwarfed by the massive Labor Lords they serve, the Derriphan-class is larger than most sentients and are powerfully built to fit their size and primary purpose as construction machines. The tools they are equipped with were chosen to be functional, but also easily adapted into weapons when the situation calls for it. In an interesting case of who came first, the Derriphan-class was actually constructed before the Labor Lord. The droids were then set to work building the first Labor Lord which, once operational, took control of them and established the relationship seen in all subsequent generations of the two models.
