The group's debut album "Hold on to me" (2005) helped her to become known throughout the LA scene. Eventually Ewa left the rest of the band behind to forge ahead on her own under the name Ewa Angeli. The mostly original selections featured musical influences as diverse as smooth Jazz,upbeat Acid Jazz,adult contemporary pop and some dance beats. Ewa's latest album "Butterfly Wings" (2008) produced by French producer Fred Benzi with 80's bass sounds and grooves toned up this time have lyrics taking on a more personal tone. Some fans assumed that one of the primary topics is the romantic relationship between Ewa and an unknown Celtic Knight... Ewa Angeli is a very mysterious singer that creates a fairy atmosphere wherever she performs,her latest album emphasizes and demonstrates highly her ability to put people in trance through her hypnotic artistry. The new album take on a more expansive foray into Ewa's music roots on songs like "Together","Butterfly Wings","You and I" which are more dance charging than much of her earlier work however smoothed up with some ballads along the way (see the magic Jimmy Hendrix cover "Angel"). The lyrics continues to be of a very personal nature....
