The Blue Sage is rescued by Jak and Daxter in Gol and Maia's citadel, and then used his powers with the other sages to break the force field surrounding the robot and get the elevator door open. After the final battle, the Blue Sage thanked Jak for saving him and made a note of his "amazing talent for channeling eco."
