  • Rod Eulenfeld (December 20, 1935 - ) was a NASCAR driver from Jacksonville, FL. He competed in six Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Eulenfeld's debut came in 1964, when he competed at Savannah. Starting 19th in the field, Eulenfeld only completed one lap before a carburetor issue left him a disappointing 22nd (last place). Eulenfeld's next race would come during the 1965 season, when he competed at Daytona in the Daytona 500 Qualifier event. Eulenfeld had a good position to start the race, going off the grid 5th. But a first lap crash left Eulenfeld 16th (still a career-best) and out of the Daytona 500. Officially Eulenfeld's best year came during the 1968 season, when he competed in two races and finished a career-high 67th in points. Still, the year was quite a struggle. A very early engine issue at Macon left Eulenfeld last (30th). Another effort at Daytona, though, put Eulenfeld in the Daytona 500, where he finished 21st. Eulenfeld's next race came during the 1970 season, when the driver made another stab at finding success at Macon. Starting 26th in the field of thirty, Eulenfeld also finished 26th due to an early fire. Eulenfeld's final career race occurred during the 1971 season, when he made his first start at Atlanta. Starting 37th, Eulenfeld just simply kept out of trouble to end his career with a respectable 24th place finish.
