  • Incendiaries, or Molotov Cocktails, are glass or ceramic containers filled with an inflammable liquid. The neck of the container is stopped with a piece of rag, which is lit just before the incendiary is thrown. If the throw misses, roll a D8 and consult this chart. The distance away from the target that the incendiary lands in the direction rolled is determined randomly: 1D3 yards for Short range throws; 1D6 yards for Long range; and 1D6 + 1D3 yards for Extreme range. The reduced damage which applies at long and extreme ranges does not involve the distance the incendiary is thrown. Instead, it depends on the distance between the centre of the explosion and any targets within the 8-yard radius. Damage is reduced by -1 for any target 2-4 yards away and by -2 for any targets 5-8 yards away. Targets more than 8 yards away do not suffer damage. If the thrower misses the attack roll by 30% or more, no roll should be made for miss location; the incendiary lands at his or her feet. Incendiaries cause fire damage. If an incendiary causes additional damage, there is a 50% chance that the additional damage will be on a location directly adjacent to the location first struck. An incendiary will burn for D4 rounds after it is ignited.
