Soon after his election as leader, Barclay was elected President of Baltusia. His narrow win saw the collapse of the BPA-Commonwealth-FD coalition. The coalitions stood at 204-196. In January 3125, Barclay was shockingly reelected President with a huge majority and major gains in Parliament. The governing coalition now had a clear majority and Barclay was one of the country's most popular political figures. He decided not to seek reelection in 3129 and died in 3134. Matilda died in 3177 at the age of 107. She dedicated the rest of her life to her late husband. Ellie served as Provost of Friars Academy for nearly three decades. She died in 3172 at the age of 75. Chelsea Groves was a journalist and died in 3145 at the age of 43. She committed suicide after suffering from severe depression. Christian Barclay served in Parliament from 3145 until 3178. He died in 3184 at the age of 79.
