They continuously attempted to offer their services to the gang boss, but Mitsugi refused, leaving the ninjas to believe that the Yakuza were perfectly competent enough to handle the situation. When this proved to be incorrect, the Elements directly challenged Mitsugi, convincing him to give them a chance. Within minutes, Musashi was delivered to Mitsugi's private quarters. Initially, Mitsugi believed to be little more than an old man and was insulted by Air's suggestion that he wouldn't be able to hold onto him. His view changed somewhat when Musashi awoke from a state of prana and slashed Mitsugi's arm with a small blade. Angry, he shouted down Air's explanation of how he was still conscious and ordered his men to kill Musashi. Mitsugi was left exasperated as he watched the Yakuza kill each other and Musashi soon escaped. The wise leader realised that the Elements had deliberately allowed Musashi to enter with a weapon, with Air confirming that she wanted him to treat Musashi with respect. Mitsugi then ordered the Elements to take some gangsters to retrieve Musashi, warning them not to return without the shinobi. Mitsugi was not seen again, with all of his men either killed or captured.
