In 2367, the entity known as Q transported the senior officers of the USS Enterprise-D into a recreation of Sherwood Forest and the story of Robin Hood in an attempt to teach Captain Picard a lesson about love. Picard in the part of Robin Hood had to make a decision: to let Maid Marian, played by Picard's former flame Vash, die or risk the lives of his Merry Men, who were played by members of his staff, in a rescue mission to save her. During the mission, Guy was killed by Robin Hood during a sword fight. (TNG: "Qpid" ) Sir Guy of Gisbourne was played by actor Clive Revill.
