This group didn't seem to understand Basic and only spoke their own language. According to the protocol droid C-3PO, the Dathomiri language had been influenced by Paecian. Words such as Wooka for "Wookiee", Jai for "Jedi" (described as "a male witch from the stars") had probably been imported into the Dathomiri language.
