He is also one of the only two characters in the game, along with Werten, to have no disadvantageous matchups. Several competitive players even think he should be 2nd or 3rd on the tier list. Ion does not execute perfectly in all areas, however. His fast falling speed allows him to be comboed easily by characters like Falco and Werten. Some of his moves also take a long time to charge up. Regardless, Ion's pros greatly outnumber his cons.
