| abstract | - Probably the most potent poison known, morgurth is a black liquid refined from the venom and/or blood of greater drakes by an alchemical ritual which usually includes distillation with strong alcohol in the presence of powdered gold or platinum; it must then be protected from sunlight in a glass or ceramic container. Morgurth dissolves the victim's brain; at minimum, it causes a long coma (1-100 years). Note: Morgurth is both a nerve poison and a reduction poison, requiring two separate antidotes.Durad slows the effects of morgurth; laurre is a specific antidote.
