Parugus pleaded with King Vegeta, "No, please, he's my only son, he could be a great ally" "Maybe," said King Vegeta. "But he could also be a great threat if he desides to rebell." Parugus could do nothing but watched as his only son got stabbed. The kingdom then disposed of Parugus and Broly. In his pod he tried to make it off the planet, but he seen the demise so he sent Broly in his pod to Planet Yardrat, as he stayed on the planet to die with the planet.2 years passed, before Broly actually landed on Planet Yardrat, by which time his power level was already 35,000.
