  • A telephone booth, also known as a telephone box, is a small enclosure containing a public telephone. The Ministry of Magic uses a telephone booth as the visitor's entrance. The booth transports visitors from ground level to the Atrium on floor B8. To activate the entrance, one dials 62442 (spelling "magic") on the telephone.
  • The phone booth is a good place to use as a temporary base on long journeys. It should be used as a resting post at nightime, as clearing it will be very easy, and it is extremely simple to secure. It should never be used as a permnant base unless you have backup. For example, if you are attacked by a horde of zombies, it is better to hide in the booth and to wait for your group to rescue you.
  • The phone booths within the Matrix appear as a modern 1980s and 1990s booth with a vintage looking rotary dial telephone within the booth itself. The telephone comes in many different colors from black, white, and red. The ringtone is similar to the ringtone of a regular telephone, it uses a vintage sounding bell ring signal whenever the phone is receiving a call. Locations of phone booths vary all around Mega City. The phone booths are used by both bluepills and redpills within the Matrix but both types of humans use the phone booths for different purposes.

The booth itself appears as a metallic constructed booth with glass walls to allow the caller/user to see his or her surroundings while talking and it also allows others to see if the phone booth is being used. The phone booths are used by both bluepills and redpills within the Matrix but both types of humans use the phone booths for different purposes. Bluepills use phone booths the same way as they use other telephone devices, they use them for personal uses and contact many different bluepills like: family, friends, partners, spouses, and company operating machines. The bluepills use cell phones for their own use without knowing about their true nature within the Matrix.
