In addition to his work on Nemesis, he has served in the electrical department of several other films (as well as television projects and music videos), typically as a lighting programmer. Some of Thatcher's past film credits as an electrician include Michael Mann's Ali (featuring LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Brad Greenquist, Albert Hall, Bruce McGill, Wade Williams, and William Utay), Swordfish (featuring Zach Grenier), and The Majestic (starring David Ogden Stiers and featuring Frank Collison). His film credits specifically as a light programmer have included Looney Tunes: Back in Action (featuring Marc Lawrence, Dick Miller, George Murdock, Ron Perlman, and Robert Picardo), Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous (starring Diedrich Bader, Enrique Murciano, and William Shatner), The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Spider-Man 3 (starring James Cromwell and Kirsten Dunst), and Paramount Pictures' Iron Man (featuring Tom Morello, Bill Smitrovich, and Faran Tahir). His television credits include The Bernie Mac Show, Fear Factor, and Last Comic Standing.
