abstract
  • Forest Friend Bear is a toy-exclusive Care Bear who was born of a joint effort between American toy company Tonka and the international World Wildlife Fund to promote woodlands conversation. He was marketed and sold only in British and Australian markets. His fur color is light tan and his Belly badge depicts a brown bear and white rabbit in front of a pair of trees. Dedicated to preserving nature and its inhabitants, Forest Friend Bear spreads awareness of woodlands destruction and deforestation to make sure the world remains green for generations to come. While it might be easy to pin him as a simple "tree hugger", Forest Friend is a bear with a mission, and like his buddy Sea Friend Bear, he strives to make the world a more liveable place for everyone, bear, bunny or otherwise.
