Minto was very fond in learning much of his ancestry. At the age of 5, Minto was among those that attended Bilbo's famous Birthday Party. Later on, Minto remained with his siblings while their parents left with the Shire Company due to a growing evil that was casted by Sauron. He was devastated after trey were killed during the war, but always remained close with his siblings. At the beginning go the Fourth Age, Minto was given a Pike as a birthday gift and lived the remainder of his life. He was quite upset when his sister died from her pregnancy. However, he began to develop a personal relation with his nephew and decided to take care of him.
